Asking

God of Revelation, bless those who ask questions. Bless the curious and the inquisitive. Asking questions is a characteristic element of humanity. Because we always want to know more, we forever reach beyond ourselves, revealing our holy origins and divine vocations. When we are satisfied with easy answers and partial truths, when we are eager to be ignorant, we betray our deepest calling. Spur us to introspection and exploration, God. Help us to ask questions with integrity; sustain us in the tension of inquiry; goad us to know more and more fully. Amen.
