Rida Hamida and Ben Vazquez

God of Abundant Life, I give thanks for Rida Hamida and Ben Vazquez, organizers of a campaign in California called Taco Trucks at Every Mosque. During the month of Ramadan, Latinos/as/x invite Muslims to a meal of delicious halal tacos at sunset, when those observing the holy month break fast. It is an opportunity for these two communities--which already overlap--to develop friendships and solidarity in a political moment when they are both being targeted. Please bless Hamida and Vazquez with strength and joy. May their creativity, hope, compassion, and hard work bear fruit. Amen.
