Enduring God, bless the bipartisan group of 10 governors who wrote a letter opposing the Graham-Cassidy bill, which is the latest effort to get rid of the Affordable Care Act.

Gardeners have to weed all summer long. Bless the legislators who continue to pluck out each new anti-ACA bill that sprouts up. Bless the organizations, activists, and citizens that keep watching and weeding.

May we be vigilant in our care for the common good and our protection of the most vulnerable. Amen.
