God of Courage, bless the Cahokia Quarterback's Club eight-and-under squad, who knelt during the national anthem before a game this week to support those protesting in St. Louis. Continue the work You have begun in these children. Pour Your blessings on the parents, grandparents, neighbors, and aunties who are teaching them. Encourage Coach Orlando Gooden, who answered the children's questions with honesty and honored their decision to kneel. Strengthen the community and solidarity among these young people, that they may accompany each other into positions of leadership and influence. Amen.
