Enbridge Line 3 Protesters

Steadfast God, I lift up those who marched today in St. Paul, Minnesota to protest the proposed Enbridge Line 3 pipeline. While the Enbridge Energy company calls this a "replacement" for an older line, it would cut a new corridor of 160 miles, go over 20 watersheds, and threaten both water supplies and wild rice fields. A coalition of 28 groups--from Black Lives Matter to the Sierra Club to the Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe--participated, with hundreds of people marching together. Pour out Your Spirit among us, God, that we all may recognize our interdependence, shared vulnerability, mutual concerns, and collaborative power. Amen.
