Sharing Food

God of Abundance, bless everyone who feeds people. To offer food to one another is a fundamental and powerful way to affirm life, not death, and to foster community, not isolation. So tonight I am praying for every person who brings snacks or cooks dinner, makes kimchi or cans tomatoes, donates to a food bank or does all they can to get a meal for the kids. Everyone who is baking more than usual this season, taking potato salad to the potluck, or sharing French fries during lunch. Nourish in us this impulse towards life and wholeness. Amen.
