Faithful Resistance

God of Mercy, I pray tonight for the many faith organizations that have been resisting the Senate tax proposal. In a joint letter, Buddhist, Jewish, Muslim, Christian, and Sikh faith leaders renounced the proposed legislation as unjust and immoral. Renew our energy, restore our strength, and strengthen our bonds of solidarity as we continue to work together for the common good. Amen.
